Get to Know Valeo: Dr. Aaron Morland

Aaron Morland Family Colorado

When and why did you decide to pursue chiropractic and functional medicine?

It wasn’t until Natalie and I were married. I had had a series of really crappy jobs and we both realized that I should go back to school. I thought I should become a diesel mechanic, so I started looking into what it took to become one.

One day, Natalie looked at me and said that I should be a chiropractor. I had utilized chiropractic before and had great results. I always enjoyed taking care of my body, even at a pretty young age, but never thought that I would do it for a living. I probably didn’t see the potential that I had.

The idea was really appealing to me, so I decided to enroll in chiropractic school. We really believe that it was God speaking through Natalie, as I absolutely love being a chiropractor.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Exercising, kayaking, learning, reading, going on walks with Natalie, spending time with family.

Why did you start Valeo Health and Wellness Center?

I started Valeo because I wanted to create a healthcare clinic that took care of the patient in a different way than what people are used to. I wanted to treat each person individually. I wanted them to know that we care about them. By doing so, I knew that it would bring glory to God!

What is your most memorable success story?

I would say my patient Spencer. He was on disability and seeing all the best doctors around, if not in the world, and no one could figure it out. We had him back to work within 30 days.

If you were to work anywhere but Valeo, what would you choose to do/be?

I was talking with Natalie the other day about this and told her that I bet I could have been a really good neurosurgeon. It would be interesting to see if I would enjoy the work.

What is one thing you think is an absolute “must” for good health?

An absolute must is putting real food into your body.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

James 1:2, 3 — Consider it true joy my brothers when facing trials of many kinds because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Dr. Aaron’s staff describe him as a thoughtful and knowledgeable leader, generous, humble, and kind.
