Get to Know Valeo: Callie Monson, Doctor’s Assistant

Callie

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Road trips, hiking, camping, going to my cabin, spending time with my family and boyfriend.

What drew you to work at Valeo?

I have always loved the idea of working here, but I didn’t think it was ever a possibility until Dr. Aaron asked me to apply for the job. I knew it was God opening a door for me since I was looking to make a job switch and have a passion for natural health care.

If you were to work anywhere but Valeo, what would you choose to do/be?

I would choose to be a hiking/climbing/backpacking guide for a day. I think it would be so much fun to explore a new place and be with people who are passionate about that as well. (Plus if it is horrible, it’s only one day!)

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” This verse has always stuck with me ever since I was little. It is such a simple reminder to always put your hope in the Lord.

What is your favorite thing about working with Dr. Rob’s patients?

I love getting to know their stories. It is fun to hear about where they were in their health when they started seeing Dr. Rob vs. where they are now.

How Others See Her

Callie’s coworkers would describe her as “cool, calm, and collected”, gentle, caring, and witty.
