Understanding Dementia Seminar Series

Magnifying glass showing missing pieces of brain puzzle to symbolize dementia

We have all heard of Alzheimer’s Disease, but how many of us can truly say we know what it is or what causes it? We’ve heard of amyloid plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, and Lewy bodies, but what do they mean? Why doesn’t removing them get rid of the problem? Is it inevitable that if I live long enough, I’ll get Alzheimer’s? Does it even matter, if there’s nothing you can do about… or is there something that can help?

Join Dr. Aaron Morland at Trouvaille Memory Care Suites in Excelsior, MN to learn more about dementia, how to prevent it, and how to slow down its progression. This is a series of presentations that will build on each other. Although not required, it is recommended to attend all three seminars.
