Most women recognize that getting together with your girlfriends is healing (as backed by science!). But little did Krystle know just how healing one special get together with her girlfriends would end up being!
A few months following a car accident that left her injured and potentially facing surgery, Krystle was at a girls’ gathering with a friend.
“My friend and I were talking and I told her that I wish I could run again,” shares Krystle. “This friend happened to be in a run club with Sharon and told me I had to meet her. Sharon was actually at the gathering, so I was able to introduce myself. I immediately was taken in by her kindness and confidence. I saw her for my first massage the following week! Ten years later… and here I am, a faithful client of hers!”
The Accident
To give more insight into the accident that led to these events, Krystle explained, “following the car accident, I had to go through an examination with the insurance doctors. They said I’d need injections and surgery and told me I would never run again… and would have a lifelong road of issues ahead.” But Krystle, being a faithful believer in Christ, walked out of that appointment knowing that wasn’t going to be her story. “I left that appointment rebuking Satan,” she exclaims.
Upon sharing the doctor’s words with Sharon, she had the same outlook as Krystle, saying, “no, we are going to get you healed and whole.” And that’s exactly what Sharon has used her God-given gifts to accomplish.
Healing and Restoration
“Sharon has brought me through healing and restoration and has also given me hope. She was able to release so much tension, help with my overall alignment, and has brought healing to my muscles and deep tissue from my head down to my toes,” shares Krystle.
“She truly knows what she’s doing and what she’s working on! She knows the exact points she needs to address and takes a ‘this is what your body needs’ approach rather than being on autopilot and performing a routine massage,” she says, adding, “I have so much confidence in her.”
Krystle also points out that another gift of Sharon’s is her compassion. “She truly cares and carries our pain for us. With her on my care team, I knew I wasn’t alone. She has a way of bringing hope and joy to the healing process.”
Not only has Sharon been Krystle’s go-to with the car accident, but also in keeping her body feeling good despite her line of work.
“I’m a hairdresser, which causes a lot of wear and tear on your body,” explains Krystle.
