“I went to Dr. Morland because I was suffering with numbness in the left side of my face. I was also dealing with numbness down my arm. I had gone to see a neurologist who said that in order to proceed I needed to have thousands of dollars worth of tests to determine what was wrong. The tests were not in my budget. When I saw Dr. Morland he did a few tests and right away determined what was wrong. It took 2-3 treatments and my problem was gone. I am very happy that I chose to see Dr. Morland!” Valeo Client- Roberta N.
“Recently I was in an auto accident. I was very surprised how sore I was after the accident. A friend of mine recommended that I go see Dr. Morland. Dr. Morland explained to me how important it was for me to get this taken care of. Through the work of Dr. Morland and Leah (massage therapist) I recovered quickly and was back to my usual self in no time. I am glad that I took my friend’s advice and went to Valeo!” Valeo Client- Bev L.

Dr. Lindsey has done extensive post-doctoral training in functional blood chemistry analysis, functional endocrinology, functional immunology, and functional neurology. He has a strong interest in the relationship between the brain, emotions, and body physiology and how emotionally traumatic events have the ability to contribute to disease. He also understands that each person is body, mind, and spirit and in order to make lasting changes in health all three aspects must be addressed.
Dr. Lindsey utilizes a clinical, functional neurologic protocol known as Brain Based Therapy along with specific functional blood chemistry analysis and Neuro-Emotional Integration to provide patient specific care. Brain Based Therapy is a protocol developed by Dr. Fred Carrick, the country’s leading chiropractic neurologist and chiropractic’s only Neurological Fellow. The Carrick Institute offers classes internationally and helps patients around the world with severe neurological disorders.
In addition, Dr. Lindsey has studied under some of the top doctors in functional medicine including Dr. Datis Kharrazian, author of Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms When My Lab Tests Are Normal?, Dr. Andy Barlow, and currently studies with Dr. Michael Johnson, who is a board certified chiropractic neurologist, and author of the best selling alternative health book, What Do You Do When The Medications Don’t Work? Michelle was raised in a small, rural town in Minnesota. She grew up learning to appreciate the quieter lifestyle it offered. That lifestyle is mirrored in Michelle’s approach to life and her personality. She appreciates the simple, wholesome ways in life and sees the beauty in things it may be easy for one to overlook. Embracing this lifestyle has brought her great joy in vegetable gardening and recently heirloom gardening. The nutritional benefits of her gardens are a plus, since she has learned how her intake of food affects her moods, well-being and energy levels. She feels closer to God, by witnessing the miracle of a seed growing into a plant and then producing a harvest.
The journey to become a massage therapist started as a little girl who enjoyed rubbing family member’s shoulders. Then, years later came a nudge from God while she was caring for her husband after a construction fall which broke his back. It wasn’t until she was in an auto accident five years later that she opened her heart and felt the calling.
Michelle graduated from Center Point Massage and Shiatsu School and Clinic from the massage therapy program with a determination to help others. While there, she had the privilege of massaging the Minnesota Gopher Football Team and runners from the Twin Cities Marathon which has given her unique experience. Her continuing education includes studying Myofacial Release under John F. Barnes. She has also achieved certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Michelle delights in giving back to the community by volunteering at multiple organizations and within her church. She is an avid gardener and loves each changing season in Minnesota and what it has to offer.
